NZ Pure Beeswax

Beeswax candles offer a range of health benefits that make them a standout option. They burn cleanly and safely, releasing no harmful substances, and provide a non-toxic, eco-friendly alternative for a healthier environment.

When burned, beeswax produces negative ions that help clean the air by attaching to pollutants like dust, pollen, mold spores, and allergens, effectively neutralizing them. This helps improve air quality, making beeswax candles especially beneficial for those with asthma, allergies, or other respiratory issues.

Some research also suggests that the negative ions released by beeswax candles may help lower stress levels and improve your mood, promoting a more peaceful and healthier environment in your space.

Beeswax is as natural as it gets, requiring minimal processing and no added chemicals. The bees create the wax while making their honeycombs, and we simply collect and purify it for candle use, making beeswax an incredibly sustainable and eco-friendly option.

I carefully source pure New Zealand beeswax, refined using natural and organic methods without the use of chemical bleaching, to guarantee the highest quality for each candle. Additionally, it is sustainably sourced.

Beeswax is known for its enduring burn, allowing you to bask in its warm, soothing glow for extended periods, offering both lasting luxury and a truly elevated experience with every use.

Beeswax has an incredibly long shelf life, which is another reason why I chose it for my candles.

Organic Coconut Oil (Unrefined, Virgin)

Coconut oil is a natural, renewable resource that provides a cleaner burn, making it an excellent choice for candle making. Its slow and consistent burn allows for a more enjoyable experience, while also producing less soot and reducing the release of harmful chemicals when burned - offering a safer option for those looking for a more eco-conscious candle.

When it comes to scent throw - the strength of the fragrance released during burning - coconut oil excels. Thanks to its fatty acid content, it holds and gradually releases fragrance oils, creating a stronger, longer-lasting scent. This results in a more robust and enduring aroma, which can make coconut oil candles a preferred choice for those seeking a rich, lasting fragrance.

Unrefined, virgin coconut oil also has a very long stable shelf life due to its high saturated fat content, making it a great addition to beeswax candles.

Wood wick

Wood wicks are a natural, non-toxic option, free from paraffin, lead, or harmful chemicals. Made entirely of wood, they provide a clean and eco-friendly burn.

Designed to heat wax evenly, wood wicks create a consistent flame on all sides, ensuring an even burn and helping you get the most out of your candle.

Wood wicks also add a unique touch to the experience - producing a soft, soothing, crackling log fire sound while they burn. This calming noise, paired with the natural flame, creates a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.

Sustainability is another highlight of wood wicks. Harvested using eco-friendly forestry methods, they come from trees that can produce thousands of wicks, making them a highly renewable option.

With their crackling sound and warm, inviting glow, wood wick candles enhance any space - creating a cozy, ambient environment.

The premium wood wicks I use are sustainably sourced, all-natural, and made from native, sappy fruit trees in the USA.
